FAA Part 107 · Remote Pilot Certificate
Fly it legally. Fly it well.
Commercial drone work in the United States requires an FAA Remote Pilot Certificate. We walk you through it — with 20 years of professional helicopter flying and 18 years of flight instruction behind the training.
Your instructor
Taught by a career aviator
Greengate brings more than 20 years of professional aviation to the training — helicopter flight operations across a wide range of missions, and 18 years spent instructing pilots, building a career centered on safety, precision, and sound decision-making.
That's manned-aviation discipline applied to unmanned work — airspace, weather, and risk judgement that goes well past the exam questions. Your instruction comes from a Certified Flight Instructor who still flies for a living.

Questions, answered
Yes. Any commercial drone operation in the United States — including work on your own farm as part of a business — requires an FAA Remote Pilot Certificate under Part 107.
Most students are exam-ready in two to four weeks of part-time study. Scheduling and FAA processing add a couple of weeks after that.
You must be at least 16, able to read and speak English, and in a physical and mental condition to operate safely. There is no medical certificate requirement.
Aircraft over 55 lbs and agricultural aircraft operations require additional FAA authorizations beyond Part 107. We cover what applies to the T100 and help you file.
The certificate itself doesn't, but you must complete free recurrent online training every 24 calendar months to keep operating.
